Active With Care provide Quality Assurance for Fit as a Fiddle

Fit as a Fiddle is a new exciting initiative, funded by the National Lottery It is estimated that it will benefit nearly 90,000 older people across the country by stimulating their interest in physical activity, healthy eating and ensuring access for them to appropriately tailored activities to enhance their well-being.
Age Concern are piloting a scheme for care homes which involves training staff and volunteers to facilitate and encourage 'Tea Parties' within the Home environment to stimulate residents mentally and physically.
Once the training has been delivered and the tes Parties are happening, Active With Care will be visiting the pilot sites to assess the success of the training programme.
